-one week gone*
i tried to post one entry some time ago. but it failed to appear cause blogspot got something wrong. too lazy to recall what i typed so never post le. anyway im back here. one week gone in ward 48. daily job. everything i have to do. in fact its more. im doing the job of a junior lar. means i got to take parameters, change drips, plug drip, give bedpan, everything under the sun lar. feed my patients, give meds (orally and rectal). 5 days. i see my patients come and go. going as in pass away. its sad to see them coming in so alert to their condition deteriorate. same patient, i did his admission and his last offices in just 4 days. 2 passed away in my shift. one on night and the other in the morning. first thing in the morning i check my patients. darn he passed away without anyone knowing. for the first time, i see the staff nurses taking their own sweet time to push the emergency trolley to patient who collapsed. haha. even if blue code also no one care lar. one funny incident in my friend's room. patient pressed blue code. she thought something happen so she run to the patient. only to see him lying on the bed and smiling at her. wah kao! somebody accidentally press the blue code button de! haha. so funny lar. should see her reaction man! i could stop laughing. lolx. yup! to why patients come and go so quickly its because im posted to a cancer ward. its supposed to be for treatment but things changes very quickly thus they would have a lesser chance of going out alive. im so tired of standing that i seriously need a leg massage! anyone to provide? lolx.
